Tamannaah Bhatia who was Born on 21 December 1989 is an Actress and model, who preponderantly appears in Tamil and Telugu-language films. In 2005, she made her acting introduced  herself only in  Hindi film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, before working in the major South Indian film Industry.

And also in 2005, Tamannaah made her Telugu introduction in Sri, and in the following year she performed in her first Tamil film, Kedi. In 2007, she has chosen her career into college movies, Happy Days in Telugu and Kalloori in Tamil, which gave her a good fame. The following are the some of the successful movies of Tamannaah Bhatia: Padikathavan (2009), Vedokkade (2009),Paiyaa (2010) and Siruthai (2011), she established herself as one of the leading contemporary actresses in the Tamil film industry. With the successes of 100% Love and Badrinath she became as a leading actress in Telugu film industry. She also has experience in modeling and various TV commercials.


                        Tamannaah Bhatia was born to Santosh and Rajni Bhatia and she has an elder brother, Anand. She is of Sindhi ancestry. Her studies went on in Maneckji Cooper Educational Trust School in Juhu, Mumbai whilst she is currently holding a BA degree at National College, Mumbai through distance education.Tamannaah Bhatia started her career in 2005 as an actress in her only Hindi film to date Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. In the same year, she was introduced in Telugu Movie in Sri, playing the female leading role opposite to Manoj Kumar. In year 2006, she made her innovation in the Tamil Film Industry in Kedi.


In 2007, Tamannaah Bhatia got three releases. After her starring in the unsuccessful Vyapari, she acted in the Shekar Kammula-directed Telugu film Happy Days which received positive reviews and gave her a first major success at Box Office. Next to it Her release was in Tamil drama film Kalloori, Balaji Sakthivel who directed it, that gave her distinction and critical celebration in Tamil.Again In 2008, Tamannaah Bhatia had three releases,In two of them she appeared in cameo roles only.  Once again In 2009, she received success with Padikathavan with Dhanush at Box Office. Ayan The next Tamil film became a blockbuster which made her a leading star in the Tamil film industry. Next to it another film was Aananda Thaandavam that was Unsuccesful. But critics praised her Perfomance in it. Kandein Kadhalai , which was a remake of the Hindi blockbuster Jab We Met is her successive release that was considered as a moderate success. Critics praised her performance of playing the original role of Kareena Kapoor.

In the Year 2010 her first release was Paiyaa, a romantic-action film and Lingusamy who directed it, gave her a huge hit. It brought her a great name in Tamil Industry. And next to it Sura, with Vijay. The film was not a box office hit and her performance was panned. Her next film was Thillalangadi with Jayam Ravi, her performance was praised which became an average grosser.Siruthai with Karthi the Tamil action film was her first movie in 2011, although role played by her in it received poor reviews was a commercial success. 100% Love, the romantic comedy with Naga Chaithanya was her first Telugu movie after two years, that brought her highly positive reviews from both the viewers and critics. Next to it in Badrinath with Allu Arjun, though her role was praised it has gave her mixed reviews.Her upcoming leading role movies are Rachcha with Ram Charan TejaMana Love Story with Ram, and Ooservelli with Jr.Ntr, whilst she is also featured in Hari’s “Venghai” Tamil action film, with Dhanush.
          
           Tamannaah Bhatia is also experienced as a model appearance in various popular commercial TV ads such as Celcom mobiles and Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap.
